Every Sunday from 1-3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to the Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building's architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques.
Inspired by the many sculptures included in the Museum's exhibition Do Not Destroy: Trees, Art, and Jewish Thought, use recycled and upcycled materials to create your own 3-dimensional work of art. And while you're here, contribute to a community tree sculpture designed by Museum educators.
