Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) JVS is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization whose mission is to transform lives by helping people build skills and find jobs to achieve self-sufficiency. Job seekers who focus on increasing their work and job search skills are most likely to become employed. To help job seekers achieve this goal, we provide a diversity of programs and services free of charge. We offer the resources needed to get back to work, including job search workshops, labs, strategy groups, one-on-one employment counseling, training programs and a computer lab.
